This week’s new movies on demand include the blockbuster Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes and The Bikeriders, and quite a few other notable films to highlight as well.
The Flannery O’Connor biopic Wildcat, starring Maya Hawke, and Meg Stalter’s Cora Bora are also out on demand this week, as is The Garfield Movie. In this latest movie based on the cartoon by Jim Davis, the lasagna-loving cat is voiced by Chris Pratt, while Nicholas Hoult plays his owner Jon and Samuel L. Jackson plays Garfield’s estranged father, Vic.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is the direct sequel to 2017’s War for the Planet of the Apes and stars Owen Teague as Noa, a chimpanzee hunter whose clan is decimated by a group of rival apes. Noa and the surviving apes join up with a human named Mae (Freya Allan) so that they can return both their ape and human civilizations to peace.
The Bikeriders
Directed by Jeff Nichols, The Bikeriders follows the members of a Midwestern motorcycle club called Vandals MC. When some of the club’s members drift toward a life of violence and crime, member Benny (Austin Butler) is forced to choose between his loyalty to his friends or his love interest, Kathy (Jodie Comer)
