It’s one of baseball’s most enjoyable events of the season as eight of the game’s top sluggers compete in the 2024 Home Run Derby!
You better bring your baseball glove because Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, is about to be littered with long balls. The rules are a little different for the 2024 contest. There won’t be any seeding or tournament-style knockouts in the first round as the top four performers will advance to the semifinals. The field is predictably stacked as two-time champion Pete Alonso is joined by AL MVP candidates Gunnar Henderson and Bobby Witt Jr., with Alec Bohm, Adolis Garcia, Teoscar Hernandez, Marcell Ozuna, and Jose Ramirez rounding out the field.
