Football is back! Well preseason NFL action is back. On Thursday, the Chicago Bears hosted the Houston Texans in the 2024 Hall of Fame game. The Bears are hoping top pick Caleb Williams can lead Chicago back to the playoffs, while the Texans look to build off of C.J. Stroud’s historic rookie season.
Later this week, the Carolina Panthers go on the road to take on Drake Maye and the New England Patriots (Thursday, August 8 at 7:00 p.m. ET) in what will be the first of 21 preseason games airing live on NFL Network and NFL+. There are no preseason Monday Night Football games scheduled for the 2024-2025 season. The first Monday night game of the season takes place Monday, September 9 when the New York Jets go on the road to battle the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1.
