New Movies & Shows To Stream This Weekend: Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story, Knuckles, THEM: The Scare + More
Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story comes to Hulu this week, providing unprecedented access to a band that’s been a global sensation for four decades. As they’ve gotten older, they reflect on their success and discuss their uncertain future as frontman Jon Bon Jovi undergoes throat surgery that threatens his singing career. The new Paramount+ series Knuckles, based on the Sonic The Hedgehog game, bridges the timeline between that last Sonic movie and the upcoming film, so take the weekend to binge all six episodes which star Idris Elba, Adam Pally, Stockard Channing, and Cary Elwes. And on Prime Video, catch THEM: The Scare, the second season of the Little Marvin and Lena Waithe-produced anthology horror show which will once again star Deborah Ayorinde, but in a new role as an LAPD detective whose latest investigation starts to affect her home life.
New on Hulu April 26: Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story
Hulu’s four-part docuseries Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story is the 40-years-in-the-making story of one of America’s most enduring rock bands and a profile of the man who lent his name to it, Jon Bon Jovi. All four parts will drop at once so you won’t have to wait to see relive the big hair days and the tumultuous times the band has faced over the years.
New on Paramount+ April 26: Knuckles
Fans of Sonic the Hedgehog, prepare yourselves for Knuckles, the live-action series based on the video game that drops a full season on Paramount+ this week. Idris Elba reprises the role of Knuckles the Echidna, whom he voiced in 2022’s Sonic The Hedgehog (and will play again in the upcoming Sonic The Hedgehog 3, releasing later this year). The show also features Adam Pally, playing deputy sheriff Wade Whipple, as he trains to become an Echidna warrior.
New on Prime Video April 25: THEM: The Scare
It’s been three years since the first season of THEM premiered, and all eight episodes of season two of the horror anthology are now available on Prime. This season features Deborah Ayorinde as a police detective named Dawn Reeve, whose latest investigation starts to consume her. Pam Grier, Luke James, and Iman Shumpert all co-star.
